750 ml bottle – 40% alc/vol
The first spirit Spike tried his hand at making, the Premium Ord River Rum has now become our flagship rum. And after 25 years, nothing’s changed. Pot-distilled, oak-matured, hand-blended and married, and reduced with monsoonal wet season rainwater, it’s still made and bottled by hand, in what we still like to think of as the ugliest still in the world.
Fancy trying it with a mixer? Try our Ord River Rum Vintage Cola Premix.

Great on the rocks, with great taste and no after bite. If I don’t have a bottle I don’t have rum in the house

One of the best rums I’ve had. A very nice flavour without being overpowering and so smooth. Myself and a group of friends have tried many different styles and countries of origin and have shortlisted a few rums from around the world. Ord River Premium is up there, no risk. Our collective opinion is, one of the easiest drinking rums we’ve ever tried.

Don’t drink Rum as a rule but this is unique and classy. Drink it on ice is best or soda water is great for this scotch drinker.

Well balanced and smooth drinking, great by itself, over ice or with a splash of soda water to open it up, too good for coke.

This rum is a fantastic example of old school rum. It has all the brown sugar and molasses qualities of a traditional British Navy Rum such as Pusers, but with a refined edge that speaks to modern production values and quality control. Tried it for the first time last night and simply had to come and give it a nod. Well done to the distillers, its been a long time since a quality, traditional rum was produced in Australia. These days its all spiced nonsense and imitation coffee liqueur with “rum” on the label. Neat, in a wide glass, with a beer chaser if you like, but no mixers or ice. Congratulations, I will be drinking a lot of this rum and also putting some away because it is bound to appreciate in both value and quality for years to come.

The only better rum is the Ord River over-proof. That stuff will convert you.

Yep, I’ve tried a few, Australian, Overseas and this Rum is the best by far. Smooth, mellow and kind of sweet, no more mixers for me, just a couple of ice cubes in a glass and pour straight over, sip and enjoy
It’s not overpowering nor does it burn, why stop at one, have a few

My family visited your distillery and sent me as a bottle a present. Fantastic tasting rum. In fact the best I have ever tried. Congratulations on making a first class product. The box it came in the post in was pretty cool too

After our tour with AATKings we sampled several of the products, this rum is outstanding and we are certainly glad we purchased. Who would have though that you could something so excellent in such a remote place
