Our doors are open all year round
You’ll find The Hoochery Distillery at the end of a stunning scenic drive that winds its way through the Ord River Valley, our rusted old shed standing in striking contrast to the beautiful Kimberley surroundings.
And there’s nowhere else we’d rather be.
Drop on by and have a taste of all our spirits, poke around the Distillery and see how we make our spirits, or head to our café for a meal and a slice of our famous Ord River Rum Cake. We’re here for you all year round.
The Hoochery Distillery Café
After your rum tasting you can stay for a bit and enjoy a relaxing lunch at our café. You can’t go past the wild Barramundi and local-favourite, roast pumpkin and chia salad.
The kids can play in our Hoochery Cubby House while you enjoy a coffee and a slice of our famous Ord River Rum Cake, cheesecake, or one of the other homemade treats we’ve got for you — including ice cream sandwiches for the kids.
The café is open all year round for coffee, cake and bar snacks.
Our kitchen is OPEN from May-Sept. Serving fresh and unique lunch and nibble options. Sit back and enjoy a Mojito or G&T on tap while snacking on some Hoochery bites.

Cellar door and rum tasting
We think the weather is just about perfect for some Hoochery bites, tastings and Hoochery cocktails on tap.
We are now open Monday to Friday from 9am – 4pm and Saturday 9am-12pm (closed on Sundays)

Hoochery Distillery tours
Our small pot distillery was made entirely by hand, by us. Spike used to joke that it’s the ugliest still in the world.
While it might not be the world’s prettiest still, it’s ours, and we’d love to show you around.
Come and discover the secrets behind how we make our rum, discover what we mean when we talk about the Angel’s nip, and hear the stories we collected over the years.
We run tours daily, at 2pm, so you can come and see it for yourself, and have a poke around where we make our rum.

Whether you just want to stop on by for a visit, or you’re looking to stay a little longer, we can arrange a tour package that suits your individual group just right.

We’ve got a range of catering, self-catering, menu, and room hire options, and our private function area can hold up to 200 of your friends and family, with both indoor and outdoor facilities available.
